ANNUAL VESTRY MEETING: The date of the annual Vestry meeting is Sunday, February 12th, following the service. This is an important business meeting and we strongly encourage you to attend.
Glen Soderholm Music Workshop
Glen Soderholm (www.glensoderholm.com) will be at St. John’s Ida on Saturday February 18th from 10 am to 3 pm for a music workshop for churches looking to enhance their music ministry. Glen will speak about principles and considerations when developing a music ministry team. He will also address issues about selecting music and leading our congregations in vibrant, uplifting worship which focuses on the Triune God. Glen will also teach us some songs. Bring along your instruments. A simple lunch will be provided at a nominal cost.

BIBLE STUDY… There is Bible Study happening every Tuesday evening at 7 pm for anyone interested in the Parish Hall. The study is “Too busy not to pray”. If you want to learn more about prayer, please join us. You would be most welcome.
CHOIR PRACTISE…begins at 7 p.m. following dinner in the Sanctuary. Everyone is welcome to join in.
MEMORIAL FLOWERS
Flower memorials will be printed in the bulletin. If you would like your loved one remembered in the “Prayers of the People” please make a note of that in the prayer request book at the back of the church.

Moyra Seabright is overseeing the Nursery this year. She will have a sign-up sheet after church for anyone who would be willing to take a Sunday looking after our little ones. Men and women, young and young at heart are all invited to sign up.
